Artificial Intelligence (AI) is transforming every aspect of life—from how we communicate and learn to how we work and solve global challenges. To help prepare future leaders for this rapidly evolving world, the American AI Leadership Institute proudly introduces its flagship AI Summer Camp, a dynamic 5-day learning experience designed specifically for high school students, with a special focus on Asian American youth.

This program equips students with future-ready AI skills, fosters leadership and ethical awareness, and builds early exposure to diverse, high-impact career opportunities. Through hands-on workshops, mentorship from real-world professionals, and team-based projects, participants will explore AI not just as a tool, but as a powerful force they can learn to shape and lead.

Our hybrid format—featuring live virtual sessions and a culminating in-person project showcase—ensures accessibility, engagement, and professional exposure. The AI Summer Camp is more than a training program—it’s the launchpad for tomorrow’s AI leaders.

To ensure impact and measurable outcomes, the AI Summer Camp will be tracked and evaluated based on the following indicators.

Participation & Engagement

  • Target Enrollment: 50 high school students (minimum) in pilot cohort
  • Attendance Rate: ≥ 90% daily average across all sessions
  • Project Completion Rate: ≥ 95% of students submit final group project
  • Mentor Interaction: Each student participates in at least 3 direct mentor engagements

Skill Acquisition

  • AI Tool Proficiency: 100% of students complete hands-on labs (ChatGPT, Teachable Machine, no-code app builder)
  • Ethics Awareness: Pre/post-assessment shows ≥ 30% increase in understanding of AI bias and responsible design
  • Career Readiness: ≥ 80% of students create a personal AI career roadmap

Outcome & Satisfaction

  • Capstone Showcase: All teams present a functioning or well-designed AI project
